When setting up Hunt Groups in the Avaya IP Office Manager the following Ring Modes can be applied:
- Collective - All phones in Hunt Group ring simultaneously.
- Collective Call Waiting - Where more than one incoming call occurs at once a call waiting notification appears on the phones of all of those in the Hunt Group currently on a call.
- Sequential - Each extension called in the same order in which they appear in the Hunt Group. This will focus the majority of the calls to those at the top of the Hunt Group.
- Rotary - As sequential, extensions called in the order in which they are in the Hunt Group. However after a call is taken the next incoming call is sent to the next extension in the Hunt Group, unlike Sequential which starts at the top of the list again Rotary goes to the next user.
- Longest Waiting - Most unused extension gets the next call. Calls are sent to extensions in order of how idle they are, thus prioritising calls to the quietest extensions.
